Principal's Corner

As we start the beginning of a new school year, we invite you to get connected with GHS.  From freshman orientation the day before school began to the last day of every year to come, Graham High School has challenged all students to set graduation as one of their personal goals.    Students can find success along the way when they connect to their school in a larger context.  This can be accomplished when they work hard, come to school every day, seek help, ask questions, make a meaningful connection with a mentor, join a sport or club, give back to the community, and realize they are supported by a community who cares.

While graduation is just the first of many goals we have for each of these students, I and our GHS faculty and staff are committed to helping each one achieve the goal of graduation. We firmly believe that we are helping to form young citizens who will go forward and truly make a difference on a much larger stage than just our school hallways.  But, we cannot do this alone.  We must empower students to reach their goals through a connected community of stakeholders.  Join our team, work with us, help us help our students.  Together we will provide a foundation of support strong enough to overcome many hurdles.  Our students are worth the extra effort.
